Pay: $32.23 / Hour
Your Role:
As an Ignition Specialist, you will improve operations and reduce costs by using Lean Manufacturing Tools to focus on elimination of waste, reduction of variation, and development of people You will have the opportunity to:
Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiativesUse Inductive Automation software (Ignition) to connect, design, and deploy applications and platforms to retrieve data from production equipmentParticipate and lead Presto-wide improvement projects and kaizen and problems solving eventsApply Lean concepts and problem solving tools in daily project work to promote continuous improvementUltimately, you will play an important part in our production process and you will help us maintain our status in the industry by ensuring that we are making quality products. We need you to have:
3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of extrusion and converting processesExperience in lean manufacturing including lean six sigma, kaizens, and process improvementsAbility to use Microsoft OfficeAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and 12 hour shiftsIcing on the cake:
Statistical and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and AIB requirementsWillingness to travelWe encourage veterans and individuals from other diverse backgrounds to apply.
