Collins Companies, Pallette Stone Corporation is seeking an **Asphalt Plant Loader Operator**. This is a union position.*Until further notice, we will be conducting interviews and executing our on-boarding process strictly following CDC protocol and guidelines for COVID-19.*Long-term and leadership positions available to those with the right drive and skills. Upon acceptance of the offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance screening (Drug-Free Employer).**Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:*** Operate equipment to include, but not limited to, Loader, Excavator, Dozer, Skid Steer, Water Truck, Sweeper* Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as back up spotting, hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocol* Perform pre-shift evaluations, routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment* Ability to safely and efficiently load vehicles with aggregates* Following safety rules, regulations, and procedures is mandatory* Perform material handling and storage* Ability to detect hazards and malfunctions and respond accordingly* Be flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group setting* Display a professional and courteous attitude to customers, co-workers and supervisors* Have the ability to work in all weather conditions**Qualifications:*** Previous experience operating heavy equipment* Basic mechanical knowledge* Possess a valid drivers license, CDL-B preferred, but not required* Must pass a pre-hire drug screen, Pallette Stone Corporation is a Drug Free Employer and employees are subject to random, post-accident/incident and reasonable suspicion drug testing**Status:** Full time union position*We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and we provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status, or genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.*
