Packager - Day Shift

**LOCATION:** Madison, WI **Summary:** The QTI Group is assisting our valued client in recruiting to hire multiple **Packagers** for a well-established company located on the southwest side of Madison. This company is a leading designer and manufacturer of plastic packaging, producing quality thermoformed and injection molded packaging. This temporary, full-time position is on the day shift and will operate from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and offers a pay rate of $16.75/hour.If this sounds like an ideal opportunity for you, contact our office or apply online today!**Responsibilities:*** Inspect and pack product to quality specifications and standards* Apply case labels and maintain proper numerical sequence of cases* Verify material for disposal and regrind* Remove tubs of recycling material from the operations floor* Follow dispatches and print work orders and labels* Process skid and hold tags* Actively participate in layered audits* Conduct Oracle transactions as needed* Identify and communicate quality deviations or nonconforming product* Read product drawings and perform product measurements* Participate in 5S programs* Perform other duties as assigned**Qualifications:*** Stand-up and standup-reach forklift experience is a plus* RF scanner experience is a plus* Steel toe shoes are required* Must follow all established safety procedures and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required* Pre-employment drug screen is required
