** Warehouse Agent 3 - OS&D lead****Job Category****:** Stations-West **Requisition Number****:** WAREH004616 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Pilot Freight Services** is seeking a capable and career-oriented Warehouse Lead to lead our fast-paced shipping/dock operation while meeting company policies and procedures. Specializing in OS&D. The qualified candidate will coordinate activities of warehouse-workers, and other support personnel. The lead will provide timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts. In addition, the lead will provide training, performance feedback, and provide disciplinary recommendations when necessary.**Essential Functions:*** Able to work variable hours, including mandatory weekends (Saturday rotation) and overtime.* Clocking in/out daily (including lunch breaks) and maintain lunch/break schedule independently (based on posted schedules).* Keep work areas organized and maintained.* Understand and comply with TSA regulations.* Recommend and develop new policies/procedures.* Training of new employees according to Pilots standards, procedures and goals.* Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following direction and continually improving.* Maintain operation by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.* Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies and regulations.* Implement security/safety improvements that benefit the companys assets, visitors, tenants and employees.* Ability to work independently using sound judgment while working in a team-oriented environment.* Ensure quick processing of return freight off the dock.* Video review.* Dock checks.* Research of distressed freight.* Manage reports pertaining to dock/freight maintenance; POD on dock, dock check reports, etc.* Research distressed freight.**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
