At Fred Finch Youth & Family Services we understand that sometimes outpatient care isn't enough. Living environments can sometimes be more harmful than good, or a child is in a temporary state of crisis and is in need of the stability and structure that residential treatment can provide.
Our residential services are designed to provide children and youth with comprehensive, around-the-clock care to help them get to the next stepping-stone in their treatment and farther down the path toward wellness.

Home Services Coordinator
What You Will Do
The Home Services Coordinator is responsible to the Assistant Residential Manager for the performance of duties related to client consumables and related regulations and procedures. These duties include the following areas: creating menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner; preparing and serving lunch for up to 35 people; preparing dinner for up to 20 people; kitchen clean up after lunch and dinner prep; food service practices and methods governing food inventory control, handling, preparation, sanitation, and storage in accordance with Community Care Licensing standards; purchasing and inventory control of client furnishings (e.g. clothing, furniture, activity/event supplies); facilitating program special events and holidays; coding and submitting invoices to Finance Department.
Our kitchen is a relaxed and familial environment where food is prepared and shared with warmth, appreciation and community.
Shifts AvailableFull Time - Hourly; Mon-Fri/8am-5pm
Salary Range In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between $24.81 and $40.41 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements):High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of related food service experience.Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with program and agency staff and participants.Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities.Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred
B.A. Degree in food service-related industry.Experience in purchasing and food services.Basic bookkeeping skills (Microsoft Excel).
