Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: Pulling work orders, and parts orders, receiving goods into stock, placing received items on the shelves, packing, and shipping orders, processing all orders for shipment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to:
Meet all safety procedures and policies are followed.Put product away in assigned locations with proper tags attached.Receive incoming goods from vendors and internal customers.Distribute received goods to machines or shelves.Accurately pull, count, and issue products from racks for delivery to various production areas.Load and unload trucks as necessary.Pack and/or crate parts for shipmentArrange shipments with freight carriers.Process orders through the UPS System as necessaryProcess shipping documents for machines and partsCratingInventory checking/counting annually and as required.Assist in the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Include, but not limited to:
Ability to operate a Forklift Truck in a safe manner.Load and unload trucks as necessary.Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.General warehouse experience preferred.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.Computer literateKnowledge using MS Office products.Working Conditions: Typical manufacturing facility conditions.
Indoors (95%) and outdoors (5%) working conditions.The facility is heated in winter, but not air-conditioned in summer.Employees must be able to stand on concrete floors for a minimum of eight hours. Kneeling, squatting, bending over and standing for long periods of time may be required to perform assigned tasks.Safety steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required.
Long pants and a sleeved shirt (short sleeve at a minimum) are required.
