Wash Bay Attendant

**Position:** Detailer /Safety SensitiveCleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles. Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Washes vehicle exterior cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down door jambs.* Vacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.* Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.* Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabric with spot and stain-resistant chemicals.* Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.* Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.* Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.* Restores the appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials.* Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.* Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.* Keeps work area neat and clean.* Reports any safety issues immediately to management.* Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.* Follows the dress code the company has put in place. Maintains a clean and neat work area.* Follows federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information.* Reports on time to work and follows the schedule that is given. Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be at work on time.* Keeps current with annual HR training along with any other training that might be required for this position.* Follows all company policies and procedures. Notifies supervisor of any illegal activity.**Requirements:*** The individual must maintain an acceptable driving record according to our insurance standards at all times.* No employee or applicant should be under the influence of any substance including medical marijuana on-site or during work hours.
