The
Case Pick, Order Completion Assistant
will pick/confirm and release cases from active locations throughout the different departments in the Outbound Plant. The ideal candidate should have six months experience.
Responsibilities and Working Conditions:
Always follow the Standard Operational Procedures.Accurately and safely picking product and case pick.Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.Safely operate and maintain material handling equipment.Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.Assist in resolving discrepancies as required.Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.Ensure all scanning is completed correctly.Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.Perform picking and packing duties.Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained in the designated work area for the Day.Remove empty pallets from the Active pick locations for the Ground Operations team to be able to do the replenishment process and fill them up.Collect empty trays/ totes from the Shipping department floor as necessary.Promote and follow safe work methods and procedures.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more.Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lightsConstant exposure to temperatures:Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.Ability to work in other areas of the business as needed.Must wear non-slip resistant shoes.Ability to apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation.Ability to clearly communicate in English.
