Inventory Coordinator

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator to join our Clearwater-based team. Working for Travelopia as part of the Yield team, you will be responsible for loading and maintaining all products in the selling system reporting in to the Inventory Manager in the UK.As Inventory Coordinator you will be working with 2 of Travelopias s incredible yachting brands, Sunsail and The Moorings, offering customers unique vacation experiences out on the water. Operating across the globe, we pride ourselves on providing unforgettable vacations that truly last a lifetime.You will be responsible for successfully delivering and maintaining all elements of the yacht charter products featured in the product range within the reservations systems. To work closely with the Inventory Manager to support the business as a provider of knowledge of the reservation systems and to assist with the day-to-day management of products and availability.**What you will be doing*** Add or change products both new and existing to represent the product that is being offered for sale, both in the marketing literature and by the sales team* Setup of monthly discounts* Ensure that all set-up data on the system accurately represents the availability for all products and the dates they are available from and to* Process all boat movements, upgrades, or local sales from Yield analysts and/or bases* Identify and propose any boat movements that allow better revenue generation/utilization* Stop sales on boats as appropriate (from bases/Yield analysts/Yield management)* Control boat flagging inventory within/without of system* Monitor system on a daily basis to maximize capacity utilization for all products* Enter yachts and all associated details into the computer system. Advise management of changes to existing fleet profile or other facts directly affecting charter sales including lists of bookings affected* Administer efficient yacht maintenance schedules and control boat movement as directed by management. Conduct fleet planning analysis as directed* Maintain direct, open communication with Yacht Owner Liaison* Monitor the course and instructor availability ensuring maximum availability at all times and liaise with Base when additional instructors required* Propose system changes to eliminate barriers to sales and perform systems testing* Identify system issues and escalate as appropriate* Perform other duties and special assignments as required* Respond to Sales Team & worldwide Sunsail office queries via the Helpdesk, e.g. occupancy overrides, odd durations, availability, etc* Act as a key driver for introducing and testing improvements to the reservations systems* Update system as appropriate where Inventory is shared with third-party franchise/partners* Ensure third party franchise/partners receive daily updates on bookings**What we are looking for**To be successful in this role you will have prior knowledge/experience of tour operation, as well as high proficiency with Word, Excel, MS Outlook. We are looking for you to be a strong communicator, able to solve problems effectively, and demonstrate strong customer service skills. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an analytical mind, you will need to be highly organized, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads, and lastly, you will be adaptable, able to flex between working within a team and working solo with your own initiative.
