Loader Operator

** Northern Improvement Company**** Loader Operator**Fargo, ND 58102**Job purpose**The Loader Operator duties include safe and efficient operation of the Loader in a construction asphalt or concrete plants. This position will work in multiple locations in North Dakota.**Duties and responsibilities*** Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk aggregate materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks* Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader.* Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material* Maintain hopper levels to achieve maximum production* Maintain stockpiles* Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning* Safe operation of heavy construction equipment* Loading trucks with dirt/clay/gravel* Picking up excess gravel/clay* Following rules, regulations, procedures, policies, and instructions* Perform other related duties as required, directed, or as the situation dictates**Qualifications*** Three years of Loader Operator experience is required* Experience working in a concrete/aggregate plant setting highly preferred* Must be 18 years old at date of application* Valid Drivers License required* Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and submit to random drug and/or alcohol testing during employmentNorthern Improvement Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer
