** Utility Material Handler - eLogistics (Mon-Fri: 8:00am to 4:30pm)****Job Category****:** Operations **Requisition Number****:** UTILI18585 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Summary:**The Material Handler, e-logistics is responsible for flexing to a variety of needs in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.**Job Duties** :Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areasLoads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages products and materials that may require the use of power equipmentReads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedConveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areasEfficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers often using power equipmentSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product codeFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly lineAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping departmentUses equipment such as an RF Gun to find and pick products for orders, and to pack orders for customer delivery.Opens bales, crates, and other containersRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedWeighs or counts items to ensure conformance to company standardsArranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workersEnters and maintains inventory records in the computerPrepares parcels for mailingCleans warehouse areaOther duties as required and assigned**Requirements:**High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyAbility to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distanceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructionsAbility to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables**Environment:**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
