** Forklift Operator Night shift****Job Category****:** Operations **Requisition Number****:** FORKL01140 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description**TITLE: Forklift OperatorDEPARTMENT: OperationsREPORTS TO: Warehouse SupervisorGeneral SummaryThis position operates numerous types of Material Handling equipment and utilizes knowledge of various types of warehouse activities, such as receiving, shipping, re-warehousing, picking, verifying and inventory control. They work with various warehouse documents such as Tally cards, Pick Tickets, and Bills of Lading.Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Operates Material Handling equipment at all warehouses as required, loading and unloading customer trucks including dry vans, refrigerated units and flat beds.2. Compares Bills of Lading with load for shortages/overages and to verify shipping/receiving of correct items.3. Assist in maintaining forklift batteries and chargers in the temperature controlled warehouses and maintain fuel for forklifts located at the dry warehouses.4. Assist in keeping accurate daily records of pallets moved into or out of warehouse.5. Must have the ability to stretch wrap pallets from top to bottom as needed.6. Must be able to stack cases or case pick.7. Keeps work area clean and perform housekeeping duties as required.8.
