Three to five years of material handling and leadership experience required. Also requires forklift training and certification, basic math, reading and writing skills. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop and reach, and lift materials up to 50 pounds. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Material Handler Lead on 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI location. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following;* Lead and work with a team handling in-plant materials* Pick up and deliver raw materials, work in process inventory, and package supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areas* Load coils* Return correctly identified materials to proper location in inventory* Supply weld cells* Dispose of scrap* Perform necessary identification and inventory paperwork* Successfully completing forklift certification program* Practice safe and alert material handling at all times* Perform pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping* Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production* Keep all materials and products neat and organized* Assist production operators with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed* Work between departments* Safety team member and leader* Keep team engaged through communication and enthusiasm* Other duties as assignedKapco is setting new standards for innovation, efficiency, flexibility and quality in the metal stamping industry.
