Apple's Global IS&T Technical organization is looking for dynamic and highly motivated SAP S/4HANA Application Engineer, who can design, develop secure, reliable and scalable solutions catering to different Apple business units.
Key Qualifications
6+ years of ABAP development experience with a focus on large-scale financial solutions in SAP modules such as RAR, FI and CO.
Hands-on programming experience with SAP ABAP RICEFW objects, OData/SOAP web services, CDS views, AMDP, Restful ABAP programming and side-by-side extensibility concepts.
Hands-on experience in SAP RAR implementation is preferred, with expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable S/4HANA applications for data aggregation and matching of high-volume data sets.
Knowledge of software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and deployment.
Knowledge of S/4 HANA architecture design, data model changes, custom code remediation, SLT replication and Integration.
Good understanding of ABAP Cloud, SAP BTP services & Fiori is plus.
Must have excellent problem-solving, interpersonal skills and the ability to drive issue resolution across teams.
Description
As a S/4HANA Application Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the integration of RAR system with large-scale ECC and Retail systems. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Write and review technical design specifications for scalable and secure applications. Collaborate with SAP on co-innovation ideas to leverage parallel frameworks, CDS views, AMDPs for aggregation of huge data volumes. Deliver high-quality SAP solutions within a dynamic environment and challenging timelines. Review the work of development teams, identify gaps in processes, and come up with best practices to be adopted by contractor teams. Undertake initiatives to explore emerging technologies like ABAP Cloud, Restful ABAP Programming. Develop reusable and flexible technical frameworks/architecture for future projects.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
