The Product Owner III

is a senior-level position that is the Agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team, ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. As a member of the extended product management function, they are the team's primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Serving as the "voice of the customer," they build and manage key relationships, synthesize information from multiple sources, maintain business alignment in the team backlog, and communicate effectively with various audiences with a bias toward delivering and learning quickly.Responsibilities are to intimately connect with the customer and stakeholders, contribute to vision and roadmap with knowledge of what the team can deliver, manage and prioritize the team backlog, support team execution, and get and apply feedback to help evolve solutions.The Product Owner III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.Experience/Education:

9 years+ related experience requiredBachelors degree in IT or related discipline requiredBachelors in Software Development preferredA candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.Security Clearance:

TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly requiredCertifications

DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification. Certified Scrum MasterPhysical Requirements:

Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/Talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.Maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $102,900-$146,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
