Provider Network Consultant , working in

Supporting Commercial, MA, Medicaid, Medicare and Medicaid Dual Eligible provider contracting of ancillary and ancillary facility providers across all lines of business including preparation of Single Case Agreements.Researching, mailing, receiving, sorting and resolving provider inquiries arising from contract operations.Is responsible for internal communications including working with Provider Network, Contracting and Government Programs staff on contracting effortsStaying responsible for internal and some external communications including educating and updating the provider network community regarding their agreements. Most communication, however, will be internal and coordinating with the Leadership and Project Manager associated with the Projects.

Experience Required for Your Success
High School Diploma with 4+ years Managed Care Contracting Experience OR 2 year of experience in health insurance/managed care industry handling independent decision making.Bachelor Degree with 1 year business experience, preferred.
Written and verbal communication skills to compose responses to external and internal entities, to educate providers, to compose training materials and procedures, to work across departments to resolve provider issues including claim research.PC proficiency including Microsoft Word and ExcelKnowledge of health care industry, contracts, products, claims processing, preferred.Knowledge of government health care products, preferred.
