About the Position
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to organize and activate Parafin`s ecosystem of data. You will be responsible for architecting business-critical datasets used across the company. You will drive alignment between teams by ensuring all of Parafin can be pointed to the same sources of truth.
What You`ll Be Doing:You will foster a data-driven culture by ensuring everyone has easy access to trustworthy and complete dataYou will interface between data engineering and end users to help improve our data tooling and development velocityYou will define and enforce our data best practices - data modeling, testing, version control, and catalogingYou will build efficient, modular, flexible, and reliable datasets that can unlock insight for stakeholders across the business - whether for analytic, machine learning, or operational purposesYou will identify gaps in how we collect data today, and work with engineering teams to ensure we are measuring the things that we need to measure about our customers and our productWhat We`re Searching For:
2+ years of experienceYou collaborate well with data, engineering, product, and business functionsYou care deeply about the quality and correctness of your workYou are comfortable managing competing and shifting priorities and can organize your own work to accomplish multiple tasksYou are excited about working on a small team and setting the foundations for how data is used at ParafinYou have two years of work experience in a similar roleYou are deeply experienced with SQL, and are able to write efficient queriesYou have a bachelor's degree in a technical disciplineWe Prefer If You Have:
Experience building and maintaining data pipelinesFamiliarity with "modern data stack" tools and technologies, such as Databricks, Airflow, DBT, and Reverse ETLExperience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience identifying and communicating data-derived insightsWhat We Offer
