Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a
Platform & DevOps Engineer
to join their team. The successful candidate will work on cloud-based solutions and solve challenging problems for unique customers.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days of onsite support in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native architectureImplement secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as codeDeploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environmentsSupport and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologiesIterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deploymentsImplement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field4+ years of relevant experienceAbility to configure cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience implementing CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Concourse CIExperience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and ChefPrevious experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products such as Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and RKE2Demonstrated experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, OWASP-DC, Anchore, Claire, Dagda, and OpenSCAPKnowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience writing responses to security controls and deploying secure systemsComfortable in a project startup environment
Desired Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant fieldCloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience supporting the DoD
