Job Description Our client is seeking a

Platform & DevOps Engineer

to join their team. The successful candidate will work on cloud-based solutions and solve challenging problems for unique customers.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days of onsite support in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native architecture Implement secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as code Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field 4+ years of relevant experience Ability to configure cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience implementing CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Concourse CI Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef Previous experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products such as Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and RKE2 Demonstrated experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, OWASP-DC, Anchore, Claire, Dagda, and OpenSCAP Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience writing responses to security controls and deploying secure systems Comfortable in a project startup environment

Desired Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience supporting the DoD
