We are looking for a Data Specialist to work supporting our client in Washington, DC

Clearance: Public Trust

Pay rate: $36.68/ hour

Job Requirements:

Use advanced knowledge of eDiscovery processes, industry best practices, and data intake, processing and loading technologies, to provide exceptional service to customer clients and case teams.Works under the direction of the Project Manager and handles tasks as issued by the EPC.Is responsible for working closely with ATR Case Managers on task requirements.Assists with the training of new EPC-specific contract staff as needed.Participates in case specific status calls as needed and general EPC daily or weekly calls via TEAMS.Troubleshoots loading and software utility issues as required.Logs, tracks, and assigns tasks received in ATR's Case Media and Tracking System database (CMTS).Performs quality control checks on the data loaded by new and junior EPC staff.Is very familiar with Relativity database structure, Relativity loading protocols and procedures, exporting functions, and database maintenance.Is very experienced in working with iPRO and Pre-Discovery, including electronic document processing from ingestion of native files through the exporting of load files.Edits and prepares large load files for updating to Relativity.Prepares outgoing discovery production deliverables per ATR Case Manager requests.Assists with creating and updating document processing procedures as neededModifies load files and performs quality control on loaded data quickly and accuratelyRuns multiple load streams simultaneouslyPerforms native file processing in iPROExports data from Relativity to create load files for other various platforms as requested by Case ManagerPerforms data conversion processing, including conversions of various document typesPerforms special format data conversions and file manipulation requestsHandles quality control on load files and Relativity data loads and exportsPerforms advanced requests, such as creating data exports for productions and performing quality control on files, and complicated overlays or appends, privilege clawbacks, and sequestration of documentsPerforms quality control to confirm accuracy on loads completed by new Data SpecialistsProvides hands-on training to other Data Specialist as neededPerforms basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark and/or tag records as requested; to include confirming record counts in Save Searches and Image redactions prior to creating exports for productionClearly and accurately discusses data inconsistencies found with Project Manager, Project Supervisor, as well as the Case Manager when necessaryAssists on calls relating to data load file formats or media encryption software with Case Manager and other IT individuals as requestedQualifications:

Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.Must be able to recognize various electronic file types (e.g., Word, PDF, ZIP).Must have some familiarity with MS Office desktop applications such as Word and Outlook.Experience in multi-tasking is required.Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.Experience with LAW, IPRO eCapture, Nuix, Relativity, Reveal, Everlaw, or other document processing platform.Must have strong knowledge of litigation support data loading, file conversion and manipulation for loading to various database platformsHas experience with the litigation discovery process, including the EDRM workflowRequires experience with Relativity, LAW and IPRO processing or similar toolsExpertise working with computers and a strong understanding of hardware componentsAttention to detail is vitalFlexible with schedule and able to work extra hours when requestedUndergraduate degree; preferably IT relatedStrong writing and verbal skillsComfortable working in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environmentAbility to estimate time required for a given taskAt least two years' experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysisMust be a US citizen and be able to pass a federal government background check.Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with virus scanning electronic files is helpful.Experience with the following is valued:Encryption softwareVirus Scanning Softwares (Bitdefender, Symantec, Microsoft Essentials)iPro eCaptureRelativityBrainSpaceEncaseFTKTechnical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred.Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued.Current or active clearance
