Overview :SMBC is in process of Digital Transformation across our Americas Division as we continue to modernize our technology, focus on our data driven approach, grow and plan for the future.

As a result of this expansion, we are seeking a consultant who will be responsible for enhancing the DQ Issues management (DQIM) application with knowledge of Data Governance and Data Management. This application will be expanded to Global users within the bank. This individual will design, build, and deliver User Interface (UI) and workflows leveraging the core skills such as UX build, Java scripting, core BAW services, and assisting Junior developers. This individual will facilitate forums with key business and technical stakeholders to vet DQ Issues for clarity, completeness and metadata integrity while capturing feedback and challenging observations and soliciting business impact and mitigating controls.

Responsibilities :•Collaborate with business stakeholders and other technical team members to gather and analyze application requirements•Document detailed design application process flows as per business requirement - high level and low-level design documents, and swim lanes•Build the Business Automation Workflow application architecture and developing solutions using BAW platform and Angular / React JS•Able to create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows. Conduct usability testing•In depth knowledge of user interface and coding within various JS Frameworks including Dojo, React JS and Angular JS, HTML coding and styling, CSS, AJAX etc.•Identify anti-patterns specific to Workflow application (like string of pearls, constellation, rule of seven etc.) and ensuring avoidance anti-pattern implementation•Implement Coaches/UI, Human Tasks, System Tasks and Toolkit using Business Process Designs (BPD's) within BPM / BAW•Able to create custom coach views (CVs) and work with BPM coach views, stock controls, spark etc.•Migrate the BAW / BPM components to BAW cloud / container version•Integrate BPM with external partners by consuming and exposing RESTful and SOAP based webservices and interacting with external systems using asynchronous JMS communication mechanism•Work with Oracle Database and RDBMS concepts Working with AIS (Advance Integration Services), UCAs, Team Filter/Retrieval Services and external integrations•Maintain parallel code base for various BPM process applications/toolkits by creating tracks, performing code merge, and ensuring no instance migration issues when migrating the instances from old snapshot to new one•Able to promptly identify the root cause of critical production issues and reach out to Vendor support teams•Manage application environment using core product skills and best practice methods•Manage and assist on WebSphere Application Server configuration•Support BAW Product Upgrades and Migration activities•Able to prioritize work by setting and meeting realistic deadlines, forecasting, and communicating changes resulting from risks and issues•Demonstrate User Interface (UI) and playback the functionality at the end of each sprint

Qualifications :•Highly proficient with JavaScript and proficient in at least 3 JavaScript frameworks•Data Management and Data Governance experience working in the financial services industry•Experience with Business Process Management and an understanding of the Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) methodology•Experience in JavaScript Frameworks such as jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS•Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) including RESTful, or SOAP web services and Java would be helpful.•Experience with Coach UI implementation•Experience working with WebSphere Application Server and Linux server•Experience in handling feeds from multiple data sources like Oracle, SQL server, complex flat files and XML files. Working with virtual tables, scheduling rules to run in batch•Experience in Integrating BAW workflows with Data Governance tools such as Collibra or Information Governance Catalog (IGC)
