About This Role

As a seasoned software professional at Textron’s Unmanned Systems division, you will perform software analysis, design, implementation, integration, and other engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-functional team environment with a wide diversity of exciting technologies and products.Responsibilities:· Work in a diverse cross-functional team to deliver a fully integrated product· Participate and lead full life-cycle software development tasks primarily using C++· Lead and assist in requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, integration, installation, and maintenance· Assist planning/estimating work and resources to accomplish project goals· Integrate third-party and customer provided software· Lead and/or participate in customer reviews and technical meetings· Mentor junior software engineers in your areas of expertise· Travel to support testing at customer sites.
