POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an

Enterprise Cloud Platform Architect , you will be responsible for designing and developing competency around a cloud platform (IaaS & PaaS) and integration architecture to meet the unique needs of our client, leveraging public, private, and hybrid cloud capabilities. You will develop architecture standards, principles, reference architectures, and best practices to optimize the cloud platforms and integration patterns used to deliver business solutions. Your expertise will be critical to creating optimal cloud architectures that are secure, efficient, scalable, resilient, and adaptable to the organization's changing needs.

You will collaborate closely with Solution and Domain Architects to ensure that the cloud architectures and integration patterns align with the organization's goals and values, prioritizing current operational demands and identifying disruptions and opportunities to drive business value. As a customer value-focused change agent and servant leader, you will provide architecture vision, leadership, mentoring, training, structure, and support at all levels of DT to increase the maturity of our architecture practice and discipline and accelerate value creation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Define and maintain the overall Cloud & Integration Architectures for the organizationDevelop, maintain, and socialize a Cloud Platform (IaaS & PaaS) and Integration Roadmap to modernize existing and support emerging requirementsCollaborate with Solution and Domain Architects to create Roadmaps that outline the long-term technical vision and strategy to support business capabilities advancementEstablish, publish, and socialize cloud technology and integration architecture standards, models, principles, and reference patterns to accelerate the delivery of architectures and solutionsAdvising on technical decisions and evaluating new technologies and tools to support cloud adoption and efficient integration of solutionsIdentify advanced technologies that will provide a competitive advantage for Sherwin-WilliamsDocument Integration Patterns Contribute to the Architecture Knowledge Repository patterns, standards, and blueprintsCollaborate with ITSM organization to maintain CMDB information qualityDesign optimal continuous delivery pipelines (DevSecOps) to optimize the delivery of secure solutionsProviding training, leadership, and mentorship to other technology professionals and architects within the organizationEnsure architectures are secure and address appropriate regulatory requirementsIncrease the maturity of our architecture practiceADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Provide technical leadership and assistance to projects outside of architecture as identified by leadershipTake initiative to learn, research, and communicate new concepts, ideas, and technologiesFacilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action itemsMaintain current knowledge of the technology workspace in terms of the current state, future possibilities, forthcoming technologies, and their relevance and impactConduct research into new applications, tools, components, and frameworksLead presentations that effectively communicate ideas, manage change, and persuade others to actionParticipate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policyUp to 10% travel as required (domestic and international)Work hours outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be requiredPOSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education & Certification:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.Master's degree is a plus.TOGAF, CEAP, CCP, CCSP, Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/Google), or similar certifications are a plus.CSM, SAFe, ITIL, APQC, or similar training/certifications are a plus.Must-have Knowledge & Experience:

12+ years of IT experience8+ years of designing and implementing complex enterprise cloud solutions8+ years of hands-on experience applying systems thinking to create documentation, technical models, reference architecture, whitepapers, and presentations for use by all levels of management, functional, and technical staffExperience in the architecture and development of large-scale, high-risk, strategic Digital Transformation Programs including projects such as ERP, Ecommerce, Enterprise Data Fabric, CRM, Digital Workplace, etc.Experience in transitioning workloads to Cloud PlatformsExperience with networking, server, desktop, monitoring, and telephony technologiesExperience with modern integration technologies and microservice best practicesExperience conducting and supporting teams through architecture tradeoff management to arrive at design decisions guided by sponsor/stakeholder prioritiesExperience conducting proofs-of-concept, developing prototypes, and building reference modelsExperience developing and governing architecture standards and principlesPreferred Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience designing digital cloud strategies and communicating the vision to a community of stakeholdersExperience in leading major Digital transformation programs in key business areasExperience in Continuous Delivery Pipelines (DevOps)Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them for a non-technical audienceExperience leading or speaking at trade conferences, publishing content, or active participation in professional meetups/guildsStrong understanding of Cloud-native application and integration architectureExperience applying international constraints and context to enterprise architectureExperience deploying and training change management and enablement frameworksExperience developing the architecture for new product/platform teamsExperience in applying systems and design thinking methodology to architecture practicesPersonal Attributes:
