A day in the life:
As an Intrusion Analyst, you’ll support critical missions through analysis of data derived from various network and telecom communication systems. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Analyze target digital network data to discover, analyze, and document malicious or unauthorized activity using information collected from a variety of SIGINT and computer network defense resourcesAnalyze metadata collected from tasked communications systems in order to identify, locate, and track targets, and to accurately report the intelligence gained from metadata analysisCategorize traffic as benign, suspicious, or malicious activityDocument malicious tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)Develop and implement mitigation strategiesWhat you bring to the table:
Level 1:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2+ years of relevant experienceExperience in malware analysisProgramming experience in C, C#, Java, Perl or Python is preferredAn active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Level 2:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experienceCISSP, CEH, Sec+, Net+, GIAC GREM and/or CREA CertificationExperience in malware analysisAn active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Level 3:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experienceCISSP, CEH, Sec+, Net+, GIAC GREM and/or CREA CertificationExperience in malware analysisAn active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
Bonus Skills:Level 1:
CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA Certification is preferred
