OverviewManageYOURiD, a System High Company, develops unique SaaS oriented solutions to challenging issues confronting our government clients and is in the process of expanding its development organization.PositionSenior UI DeveloperPosition SummaryReporting to our Chief Architect and Development Team Leader, the Senior UI Developer will be an important part of our development team working in conjunction with our UX Designers. Our ideal candidate will be a detail oriented and open-minded UI Developer with a solid technical background, creative vision and the ability to effectively communicate with all team members.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
Requirements and skills5+ years of overall and increasingly responsible UI experience.Demonstrable UI development skills with a strong portfolio.Proficiency in essential front-end technologies such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, SASS, Asp.Net MVC Razor and the proven ability to code UI layers based on these technologies.Experience working with UI templates and custom style sheets.Desirable GIS experience (ESRI or any other).Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.Current knowledge / awareness of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologiesStrong diagnostic skills and the ability to research, troubleshoot, and logically identify solutions.
