Job DescriptionThe Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the growth and evolution of GNC's search engine optimization strategies/tactics and performance analysis. This position must possess exceptional hands-on technical knowledge and cross-functional communication skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and execute search engine optimization strategies, with a focus on content optimization and development. Extract insight from various data sources, identify relevant trends and provide well-developed proactive recommendations to drive results to support business objectives. Highly collaborative and positive attitude when working with peers and colleagues across the organization to achieve common goals. Exhibit clear understanding of overall client brand messaging and goals, and manage the development of content for search engine optimization purposes, including but not limited to, keyword generation, blog and social media copy creation and website copywriting. Provide regular reporting and updates on performance to internal stakeholders, including competitive intelligence briefings. Work collaboratively with Marketing, Content Development, and Brand teams to provide best practices for content that lead to optimal search rankings. Monitor and improve product content setup and operations. Maintain product information and data quality. Additional duties as assigned. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, eCommerce or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required 5+ years' experience in dedicated SEO program management required Experience with content management systems like Wordpress, Drupal or Joomla Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and other programming related topics Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Moz Advanced problem-solving skills for websites and technical SEO implementation experience including: on-page SEO factors and site architecture improvements High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts Maintains a curious and positive attitude, is open-minded to new ideas, and helps others achieve their goals. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting NICE-TO-HAVES: Education or work experience in nutrition, dietetics, or supplements Understanding of Paid Search and Affiliate marketing tactics and how SEO interacts with them An understanding of website UX and conversion optimization strategies and how they relate to SEO Experience working directly with an Engineering team in a project management or product management capacity Experience using ChatGPT in an SEO program Additional InformationPHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
