Job DescriptionSUMMARY
The Oracle EBS Developer reports to the Oracle EBS / BI Lead and plays a vital role in implementing and maintaining Oracle systems within the manufacturing environment. This position involves collaboration with key team members in manufacturing, production, and engineering to optimize Oracle utilization for order fulfillment in the production setting. The ideal candidate must be capable of efficiently managing their schedule and budget, including after-hours and emergency scenarios.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, implement, maintain, and perform unit testing of PL/SQL software applications on Oracle and Linux databases.Proficiency in functions and store procedures.Collaborate closely with the IT team to fulfill project and enhancement requests across all business units.Design, develop, and implement coded solutions in response to business unit requests, working in tandem with the current development staff.Handle incoming problem requests from end users professionally via telephone and email.Establish rapport with the client community and gather problem details effectively.Prioritize and schedule problem resolution in coordination with the IT team.Adhere to consistent change management methodologies throughout the code creation and alteration process.Apply a logical and progressive troubleshooting approach to address identified problems.Conduct post-resolution follow-ups on client community problem requests.Perform work, both remote and onsite, during evenings and weekends as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency in Oracle Applications 11i or higher.Competence in creating and maintaining PL/SQL, XML for Oracle Applications.Capability to create and modify Oracle Reports.Familiarity with the following Oracle Applications Modules: a. Finance b. Order Management c. Purchasing d. Bill of Materials e. Flow Manufacturing f. Planning g. Shipping h. Inventory i. Engineering
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •Five or more years of experience in Oracle Applications, utilizing the following tools:
Oracle EBS DeveloperExpertise in Oracle DatabaseSOA (Solutions Oriented Architecture)Knowledge of Order to Cash collection cycleProficiency in PL/SQLOracle Reports / FormsJDeveloperWorkflow BuilderToadDiscovererJava
