The Data Scientist – Electric Vehicles is a key role on the Energy Storage Data Science Team.Energy Storage Data Science is a collaborative and impactful team of engineers, scientists, problem-solvers, and strategic thinkers. We build world-class analytics of the global lithium and energy storage industries. As a team, we answer foundational questions about the future of these industries: How quickly will regional automotive markets adopt electric vehicles? How will the lithium industry respond to growing demand? How will technology innovation improve EV performance? How will supply and demand dynamics influence the future of the automotive, energy storage, and lithium markets?What You Will Do

As the Data Scientist – Electric Vehicles, you will:Analyze data and build interactive visualization tools related to electric vehicles (EVs) and battery demand to enhance decision making.Apply advanced analysis, statistical, and forecasting techniques to near- and long-term forecasts of global EV and lithium demand.Partner with Business, Marketing, & Sales to turn data and analysis into insights, forecasts, and recommendations.Create insights and present to stakeholders across the Energy Storage business.Grow your modeling, analysis, visualization, presentation, and business skills.This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC.Impact You Will Have

BS/MS in Engineering or Science.Required:

2 years in data analytics or data science with a bachelors; 1 year with a masters.Experience using models and analysis to create insights.Experience with visualization tools and techniques.A demonstrated ability to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.Working on a team, including co-development of models and results.Domain expertise in electric vehicles, energy storage, or related.Preferred:
