Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:
Systems Engineer
Location: Herndon, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits
Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.
This project will provide network and engineering support to a variety of our customer's programs. The customer has several mission critical systems, and you will provide innovative ways to achieve operational excellence. You will apply specific functional and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, if needed work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees, if needed.
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with TCP IP protocol suite, IP subnets and masking, and routing protocols.
Demonstrated experience working in Local Area Network (LAN) environments.
Demonstrated proficiency working in Wide Area Network (TRANSPORT) environments.
Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Routing and Switching systems on Cisco and Juniper.
Demonstrated experience with Routing Protocols to include OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
Demonstrated experience with Gateway Redundancy Protocols to include Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP).
Demonstrated experience implementing L2 and L3 VPN across an MPLS network.
Demonstrated experience with network security such as firewalls and Access Control Lists (ACL).
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Visio for network topology creation and modification.
Active certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or others. [Desired]
