Cimarron is seeking a

Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) Software Execution Lead

to support the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program in Littleton, CO. The CPS program designs, develops, builds, and tests an integrated hypersonic weapon system capable of launching from surface ships and submarines with the ability to conduct a precision strike at Mach 5+ speeds. This position supports a 9 X 80 work schedule (i.e. every other Friday off) and is a hybrid role that will allow for some remote work (i.e. work from home a few days a week)!Key Duties:Ensure the thread from the top-level customer requirements to the Flight Software(FSW)/GN&C qualification and performance verification is fully implemented.Build relationships across the program and with our national partners to meet all software milestones and ensure clean handoffs.Be responsible for maintaining and adjusting the detailed plan and coordinating multiple teams.Facilitate discussions, problem resolution, and issues or gaps when discovered.Work with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership and Product Owners to translate the long-range plan into a synchronized execution roadmap.Head up the software development and test efforts, aligning the different teams to the execution roadmap.Develop strong working relationships with the larger systems team, nation team members, and customers to ensure the successful delivery of each software build.Integrate with the systems verification and test teams to facilitate a clean handoff of software for testing.Connect multi-discipline communities to tackle challenges and gaps in development and test.Required Skills, Experience, and Education:Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.Active Secret Clearance.5 or more years of relevant experience.Experience working in GN&C (or NG&C) and/or Flight Software (FSW) development environments.Experience leading, planning for, and enabling geographically distributed teams.Bachelor's degree.Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:Solid technical background in Software, GN&C, and/or Embedded Systems development related to aerospace, robotics, automotive, or a similar field.Experience coordinating and working with large, distributed teams, including external companies and government organizations.Experience providing regular feedback to leadership and customers, reporting on current status and path forward.Ability to clearly articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to team members, other technical teams, management, and customers.Ability to manage multiple, often-competing requests, and effectively prioritize the most urgent ones.Experience with Agile (SAFe, Scrum, etc.) planning and execution and tools, such as Jira.Experience developing and analyzing GN&C or similar algorithms and systems in MATLAB and Simulink.Experience integrating and verifying software within hardware testbeds.Business Profile:Cimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
