Amida is currently looking for a
Senior Business Analyst
to join our team in Washington DC. Amida is looking for a candidate with solid expertise in IT systems analysis to transform Medicaid-related business processes. This role involves analyzing complex healthcare business problems, designing efficient Medicaid-centric solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction within the Medicaid domain.
What You Will Do
Perform in-depth analysis of current Medicaid-related business processes spanning EDI, encounters, claims, member, provider, reference systems.Conduct/participate in interactive requirements gathering sessions with diverse groups of stakeholders to understand their specific requirements.Leverage data analysis skills to extract insights from Medicaid data.Create process maps, use cases, and functional specs to clearly capture business needs and link them to technology solutions.Conduct constructive conversations among IT teams and business units to promote mutual understanding and ensure that system designs meet the objectives of both parties.Manage and maintain all documents pertaining to systems analysis including process flows, requirement lists, detailed system design and solution proposals.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in management science & information technology or related field.Over 20 years of experience in IT systems analysis, with a strong emphasis on healthcare systems and Medicaid processes.In-depth knowledge of Medicaid business processes, regulations, and systems.Proficient in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and creating detailed documentation.Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
