CNA Search is seeking a Talented Cloud Admin for a growing SaaS organization.

The main responsibilities include ensuring all customer-facing applications are available and performant 24x7x365, providing technical assistance troubleshooting and resolving issues at all layers of the OSI Model, provisioning new Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, AaaS, etc.), migrating existing applications between Cloud environments, ensuring systems are secure and compliant, establishing standard operating procedures across environments. This work will require creative problem solving while maintaining security and standardization across the environment.

Functions and Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain SaaS/web applications in the “big three” cloud service providers

Deploy, tune, and maintain services and applications in Windows, Linux, and containerized hosts

Install infrastructure application patches/fixes and plan/implement upgrades

Monitor server and application performance, resource utilization, and security/compliance

Perform ongoing performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization

Partner with operational leaders and management on outages, providing technical and subject matter expertise

Register and maintain domain registrations, DNS, and SSL certificates

Implement and maintain data sources, API integrations, and extensions of web architecture

Research and recommend innovations and, where possible, automate management of cloud environments

Strong understanding of application, server and, network security

Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause-analysis

Prepare disaster recovery plans

Participate in on-call rotation

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of experience with enterprise-level web/SaaS applications within Azure or AWS

Proven experience with SaaS/web applications running on Kubernetes-managed container technology

Automation technologies within Cloud environments

Certificate management and cipher suites

Mastery of application performance monitoring and tuning

Experience building and deploying highly available applications and environments utilizing active/active based designs

Education

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Professional architect and/or cloud certification(s) preferred
