We are looking for an individual who will focus on consultation, experimentation, & analysis to determine causal drivers of business impact across their supported initiatives.In this role, you will directly support design and evaluation for critical Reinvention initiatives across the enterprise & provide foundational data analysis & support for cross-functional programs.The successful candidate for this role will thrive in a highly cross-functional working environment, possess a strong consultative capability, and have the intellectual curiosity to dive deep into complex problems.As a Retail Testing Analytics expert, you will…Collaborate and consult to develop cross-functional learning plans

– You will partner with operational, business, & research stakeholders to consult on and develop comprehensive learning plans, aligning program goals to specific & measurable partner & business insights.Lead data prep & manipulation of complex data sets

- You will be responsible for the extraction, manipulation, & synthesis of transactional, production, product, & marketing datasets, pulling from databases including Azure, SQL server, and legacy systems; You will spot anomalies & data issues and work cross-functionally to resolve.Craft compelling narratives backed by data

- You will work under consultative or self-initiated direction to produce relevant visualizations & narratives to support testing recommendations; You will present these narratives both verbally & visually to varying levels of business stakeholders, up to and including senior leadership.Model Starbucks Mission & Values

We’d love to hear from people with:Bachelor’s degree with quantitative emphasis. Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or related field.Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. The role requires effective communication and consultation with colleagues, stakeholders and leaders from different backgrounds.Working knowledge of & interest in A/B testing and inferential statistics (sample size determination / power analysis, hypothesis testing, regression, etc.).Strong data querying skills (SQL) and some experience with a scripting language (Python or R).Experience working with varied datasets from different sources to generate business insights.Proficiency with descriptive analysis and data visualization (ggplot2, seaborn, matplotlib, Tableau, PowerPoint).Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities simultaneously to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and high attention to details.
