Senior Staff Software Engineer
to join our team.Are you ready to shape the future with us?THE POSITIONSenior Staff Software Engineer, Continental Automotive Systems, Inc., Auburn Hills, MI:Act as technical lead in the team, perform analysis and elicitation of customer cyber security requirements, negotiation with customers, prioritize issues, etc. Perform the Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in compliance to ISO 21434 to identify any potential threats and corresponding risks to the projects. Plan, coordinate, and track the development and extension of new and existing Cyber Security features/functions. Develop and review the Technical Security & Privacy Concept to fulfill the requirements of ISO 21434, internal requirements, and customer requirements. Develop and release the Cyber Security artifacts (XML, DLL for production controls). Develop the cyber security work products such as Security Development Interface Agreement (S-DIA), Item definition, Cyber Security Plan etc. to fulfill the requirements of ISO 21434, internal process, and to meet the customer needs. Act as the main interface in the project for all Cyber Security topics and coordinate, plan, provide technical support to the project team including hardware, software, testing. Develop the Security and Privacy Case as required by ISO 21434 by incrementally adding content throughout the development lifecycle to provide evidence that the systems developed meet the cyber security requirements.Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years of progressively responsible systems engineering experience to include five (5) years: working in cross-functional teams involved in technical problem solving; four (4) years: interpreting customer requirements regarding design and testing of embedded systems; three (3) years: with Software Configuration management Systems (like MKS or Tortoise SVN); Requirement Management tools (like IBM Doors); two (2) years: working on cyber security topics in the automotive industry; directly communicating and negotiating technical issues with automotive customers; working on security vulnerabilities, security threat modeling, cryptography, penetration testing, and other basic security concepts; with data privacy and protection goals; communicating security concepts to technical counterparts and project management. Requires 5% US travel for Winter Test support in Brimley, MI and 5% international travel for project alignment, coordination, support, workshop, training, in Veszprem (Hungary), Frankfurt (Germany) and Queretaro (Mexico).To Apply, email resume to
