This is a critical role to ensure alignment through a myriad of data projects over the coming years. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data quality, driving innovation in data management, and establishing master data management standards to facilitate business value. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on data management best practices.If you have a strong passion for data management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a track record of success in master data management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!As a Data Director, a typical day might include a mix of the following:Own Master Data Management at a Prestige level and work with brand teams to ensure alignment across functions.Identify common data elements and unique/part unique data elements and the data elements needed to unlock desired cross-brand capability improvements.Build Prestige data architecture and define prioritized Prestige data objectives.Develop a work plan to deliver on the Prestige data objectives, including how master data facilitates our technology roadmap.Implement the data management strategy across the brands.Establish master data management standards, processes, and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.Build a data community of practice across the brands to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.Document and share data management best practices across the brands.The Details:Status: Full-timeLocation: Fully remote within the US, preference to West Coast candidatesHours: Typical PST business hours will require some flexibility.Physical requirements: Ability to both sit & handle screen time for long periods of screen timeTravel requirements: Up to 10% travelApproximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location$180,000 - $200,000 USD/annuallyPaula's Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
