£35,000 - £42,000 + Benefits PackageInfrastructure Engineer Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will play a pivotal role in ensuring the execution and delivery of IT and communications Projects, ensuring clients are satisfied and expectations are met, and exceeded. Your work will include:Provide technical expertise across a range of customer projects across Microsoft services.Work across the entire project lifecycle.Onboarding of new clients and customers.Involved in deployments across various small to medium sized enterprise businesses.Upgrade and installation of on premise and cloud services, networks, storage, and backup solutions.Site to site migrations.The Skills & Experience
Required for the Infrastructure EngineerThe business will support you to work however is best for you in a hybrid and flexible working environment. The business does however ask that you have:3 years of relevant experience: With previous experience in project delivery and system migrations/upgrades.A working knowledge of Azure is essential.Key Area’s of knowledge:Virtual networks, load balancers, and other networking resources.Virtual machines, containers, and other compute resources.Migrations to, and management of the platform.Knowledge or endpoint management, MDM, security, and governance.Would also be beneficial to have:Hardware and infrastructure implementations, firewalls, switches, wireless, VLAN awareness.Key vendor experience (Not essential, nice to have) SonicWall, Unifi, Cisco, HP, Dell.The CompanyA fast-growing Managed Service Provider are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Cheshire offices on a hybrid and flexible working basis.This MSP has won a range of national and regional industry awards for the quality of service they offer: Meaning you’ll be working with some of the best in the business to offer best-in-class services to businesses.There is a pipeline of projects for you to be involved in, with great opportunities for training and development to round out any areas that you wish to up-skill in, as well as interesting technologies to work on.
