Job Description:

WHAT YOU GET TO DOInstallation and setup of our logistics software at Customer SitesProgramming of software customizations and adaptation of configurationsDevelopment of queries and reports by accessing the softwares database (SQL)Organization, preparation and testing of software at the office (Kennesaw/Atlanta) and at Customer SitesProject related work with customers, at Customer Site and in the office

Software engineering to discuss processesAdaptation of interface softwareSupport sales and project management team

Cooperation with different international departments (Europe)Support to customers during startup phaseTraining and support to customers on issues related to our software and logisticsRemote support to existing customersDocumentation and finalization of projects for handover to customer service departmentWHAT YOU HAVE

Knowledge of C++ or Java developmentSQL and PL-SQL experience is requiredExperience with Linux

Work in a mixed Linux and Windows environment

Knowledge of one of the following scripting languages is a plus:

Bash, Perl or Python

Solid understanding of network infrastructuresKnowledge and understanding of logistical workflows and processesKnowledge of current software development technologies and design patterns (OOA, UML, common patterns)Capability to create workflows and processes in written form and sequence diagrams, and to develop and implement accordinglyStrong knowledge in one of the following fields:

Database development; process development, UI/HMI development

Working Conditions and Environment:

Overtime as required by workTravel is required as follows:

60 - 80% travel if traveling to the customer site or 20% travel or less if relocating or local to the customer siteMandatory training at our training facility in Kennesaw, Georgia is required during your first 4-6 months of employment

Ability to travel by air both domestically (US) and internationally (primarily to Austria and other parts of Europe as well as Canada)Professional office etiquette is required at all timesAuthorization to work in the U.S.Passport or ability to obtain a passportPhysical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arms length, and lifting up to 50 pounds.WHAT YOU WILL GET
