Job Description:The client is seeking a team member to function as a Governance Business Analyst. The Analyst will analyze processes and develop documentation to support Governance initiatives. The IT Governance practice at client is focused on process improvement, standardization, and risk minimization.

The Analyst will also assist in issue resolution, operationalizing Governance practices, creating and socializing IT Governance artifacts, such as IT audit responses, control processes etc. This position will also assist in extending the scope of ITD Governance, Compliance and Process Improvement.

Responsibilities:The IT Governance Analyst is responsible for providing support to IT services, nd will align IT investments with enterprise business goals, as well as Bureau and Agency guidance.Support technical review and compliance reporting for IT Change Management and Project Delivery processes.Support technical writing and review for the division's flagship governance documents and policies.Support security policy interpretation, reporting and trainingSupport Template and Collaboration Site Management for the Architecture SubunitProvide input into the augmentation of a governance model for ITD's critical processes.Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge or experience in process modeling.Demonstrated knowledge in policy/technical writing.Experience with drafting business or executive-centered briefs, presentations, and reportsKnowledge an Agile Project Management environment preferred.Knowledge of IT Audit and Compliance response processesUnderstanding of IT Governance best practices, tools, with willingness to learn Commonwealth or Agency Implementationbility to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a fast-paced, team environment is requiredttention to detail, strong listening skills, and good verbal and written communications are required.Skills:

Knowledge and application of IT Governance best practices?Experience in business writing and presenting?Experience in Process Modeling and Policy Documentation?Knowledge of IT Governance and Compliance standards?Educational or Career Experience in Cybersecurity, Government technology implementation, IT Risk Management, IT Governance or related field(s)?Certified Scrum Master (Nice to have)
