Position Overview: The Clickstream Data Modeler will play a critical role in designing and optimizing data models to capture, analyze, and derive insights from web page/clickstream data. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling principles, clickstream data sources, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective data solutions. The modeler will be responsible for designing and implementing clickstream data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling:

Design and develop clickstream data models that align with business requirements and objectives. In this context, Clickstream means modeling from Snowflake data tables consisting of raw web data and platform data.

Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for clickstream data, ensuring scalability, performance, and ease of maintenance.

Data Integration:

Work closely with data engineers to integrate clickstream data sources into the overall data ecosystem.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.

Optimization:

Identify and implement optimization strategies for clickstream data models, ensuring efficient query performance and data processing.

Continuously evaluate and enhance data models to accommodate evolving business needs and changing data landscapes.

Metadata Management:

Establish and maintain metadata for clickstream data models, including documentation of data definitions, relationships, and dependencies.

Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into effective data models.

Work closely with development teams to implement and deploy data models within the organization's technology stack.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor and analyze the performance of clickstream data models, addressing any issues or bottlenecks promptly.

Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the reliability and availability of clickstream data.

Continuous Learning:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to clickstream data modeling.

ctively participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
