As a Backend Software Engineer II at 98point6, you'll have the opportunity to align and collaborate with Engineers across multiple disciplines who are motivated and passionate about the company mission. You’ll also partner with various teams, such as Product, UX Design & Research and Marketing. You will work on serverless stacks, leveraging a variety of technologies across AWS, as well as traditional Java stacks. As a 98point6 Backend Engineer, you'll play an instrumental role in helping build, shape and make improvements to technical infrastructure while working on a production application that all patients and clinical staff can rely on.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a Product Engineering team to create high-performance, highly available and scalable systemsContribute to code and design reviews, ensuring the quality of both deliverablesWork cross-functionally across multiple teams to prioritize and ensure we make positive trade-offs in how we deliver featuresProvide consistently accurate estimates of delivery dates at the story levelTranslate majority of user stories to implementation plans or designs that are reviewed by peers and managementMentor SDE I’s and internsParticipate in 24/7 on call responsibilities on a rotational basisAbout Us

The salary range for incoming hires for this position is $113,000-162,000. At 98point6, compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s experience and scope of responsibility.
