MS SQL Developer
Location: Whitehouse station, NJ or Philadelphia - Hybrid 3 days in and 2 days out

Job description: The Global Actuarial Systems team is a small, agile group of technology enthusiasts. We are tasked with solving the complex data needs of both US and International reserving actuaries. Our group is responsible for collating data from several disparate systems and platforms and providing analytic solutions for the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. This requirement is for a full-time position in either our Philadelphia, PA or Whitehouse Station, NJ office. Hybrid remote work (3 days required in office each week). Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain MS SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, jobs and complex queries Design, build, and maintain MS Analysis Services cubes (SSAS) Design, build, and maintain MS Integration Services packages (SSIS) Analyze existing applications to improve efficiency and reliability Conduct system testing and provide support during user acceptance testing Deliver quality solutions on time following SDLC best practices Documentation of current or new processes Provide on-call production support as needed Qualifications
5+ years experience with SQL Server developing stored procedures, functions, jobs, complex queries, SSIS packages, SSAS cubes Experience with SDLC, DevOps and GIT Capability to work on multiple projects at once with constantly changing priorities Enthusiastic about work and code quality Extensive technical analysis and investigative capabilities Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities Learning mindset and team player Comfortable interfacing with end users Result/Solution-Oriented individual who can work/learn in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and writing skills
