A New Jersey based nonprofit healthcare organization is on the hunt for a security engineer L3. This organization offers a wide range of healthcare services which includes: Hospitals, specialized medical services, outpatient care, primary/specialty care, home care and research & education. As a cybersecurity engineer, your role involves managing incident response, vulnerability scanning, and data loss prevention (DLP). You'll develop and maintain incident response plans, conduct vulnerability scans, and prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities. You'll also organize incident response drills and continuously monitor DLP alerts.
In the event of a security incident, you'll lead or participate in the response, including containment, investigation, and documentation. Documentation is crucial, including incident reports and updates to risk assessments and compliance documentation. You'll provide security awareness training to staff and closely collaborate with IT teams and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to cybersecurity, all aimed at safeguarding patient data and healthcare operations.
