Title:
Mid-Level Information Security Officer/Engineer
KBR is seeking a Mid-Level ISSE/ISSM to join our team in Kihei, HI to provide advice and assistance to the Government regarding secure configuration and operation of the client’s IT assets.
Responsibilities:
ISSO responsibilities include: conducts risk management framework (RMF) assessment and authorization activities of current and future systems;
mitigates and eradicates malicious activity; applies knowledge and experience with standard information systems security concepts, practices, and procedures; implements common information systems security practices, policies and technologies; prepares reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems; gathers pertinent security documentation and artifacts for inclusion into system authorization packages.
Required Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science a plus, but not required for the job.
5+ years' of experience in developing and implementing Intrusion Detection Systems and firewalls.
Minimum Qualifications:
DoD IAT Level 1 or IASAE Level 1
Desired Qualifications:
Windows Server experience
DoD IAT Level 3
IASAE Level 3
Clearance required : Secret - TS/SCI desired
