RESPONSIBILITIES

Escalation point for Tier III support issues that are escalated from Tier I and IIProvide Infrastructure services in all areas needed: LAN, WAN, cloud environments, network security and network monitoring, configuration and troubleshootingWorking with our business and the engineering team to successfully implement secure LAN/WAN, wireless, and Data Center network solutionsLAN and Data Center Fabric routing and switching design, configuration and deployment in small to very large environmentsWAN routing design, configuration and deployment in small to very large environmentsProvide network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design and implementation of secure network products/solutionsApply vendor best practices to client environments under your managementAssist the design, development, implementation and ongoing management of client infrastructure and systemsIdentify, diagnose, and resolve network problems including network connectivity, traffic utilizationInterface with third party vendorsUtilize exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to improve and maintain client relationshipsCampus LAN/WAN routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must, Nexus strongly preferred)Cloud knowledge with AWS & AzureNetwork Access Control, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (Client) implementation design, configuration, and deployment is a plusRF design & Wireless LAN SurveysRF Troubleshooting and tuningCisco WLAN (WLCs, Prime)Provide after-hours coverage as part of an on-call rotation schedule and for client upgradesMaintain, develop and grow client documentationAssist with monthly reports, and recommendations for Managed Services ClientsStay current with industry and technology news, trends and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of experiencePrefer at least CCNP-level (Cisco Certified Network Profession) working knowledgePrefer AWS Solution certifiedBachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent work in an IT related field.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize and manage time effectivelyPassionate about, and dedicated to the client experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding attention to detailStrong documentation skillsCommunications (Written and Oral) - Communicates well. Writes clear, precise, well-organized documents.Analysis Skills - Identifies significant problems and opportunities. Analyzes problems and people in depth.Team Player - Reaches out to peers. Overcomes we-they.
