Document Processing Specialist

The Document Processing Specialist is responsible for preparation, scanning, indexing, and other data imaging processes. This position may be cross trained on various aspects of the digitization process.
All individuals will be going through an IRS Clearance once hired by Phoenix.
Pay: $17.00/hour

The responsibilities of the Document Processing Specialist are outlined as follows and not intended to be all inclusive:• Preparing documents for the scanning process, including receiving, unboxing, removing staples and paper clips, fixing and repairing small rips or tears with tape, and inserting sort sheets as required, etc.• Operating and maintaining scanning equipment, including processing prepped documents onto scanner and making appropriate adjustments.• Entering alphabetic and numeric data from electronic images utilizing software application to capture the appropriate data.• Reviewing completed work and administering the company's quality control procedures to ensure all client work is at or above required accuracy rates; assist the entire team in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).• Responding to inquiries regarding the status of data indexing, rejected character repair, or quality assurance phases of the data indexing process.• Following proper procedures, rules, and processes for data capture and quality assurance of data.• Troubleshooting technical difficulties and making appropriate adjustments.• Utilizing appropriate and compliant safeguards to reasonably prevent the improper use or disclosure of confidential and protected information, which may include Federal Tax Information (FTI), Protected Health Information (PHI), and/or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and reporting any concerns to the Program Manager.• Stocking shelves with boxes and removing boxes after completion; building pallets for shipping; stacking boxes on to each pallet and wrap; affixing shipping labels; and moving completed boxes to designated area for shipping.• Providing input into the regular review and updating of applicable standard operating procedures.• Attending mandatory meetings and trainings, working scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and performing other duties as assigned per business needs.
