Job Duties:Design and implement data architecture solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and data managementConsolidate existing data sources into a new data warehouseEither validate or invalidate the existing data structures in placeHelp determine analytics and ETL toolsDesign efficient data pipelines to transform raw data sources into, reliable components ensuring data quality, efficient processing, and timely delivery of accurate and trusted dataDesign data models for optimal storage and retrieval to meet critical business requirementsWork with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needsMaintain high standards of engineering excellenceDefine and enforce data governance policies and advocate for best practices
What they are looking for/Requirements:
5+ years experience working with data warehousingPrevious experience designing and implementing a new data warehouse (at least two projects)Experience with SQL ServerStrong Data Modeling skillsExperience with Star and Snowflake Data Warehouse SchemasExperience with multiple ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, etc...Experience with multiple BI tools such as SSAS, Congnos or Business ObjectsExperience with collecting data from tradition systems as well as shop floor systems and IOT devices
