Please don't submit irrelevant profiles for this role.Main Responsibilities:The role will be involved in support of highly critical production environment and will be engaged in design and deployment of large range systems along with a team of technically competent professionals.Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignmentsEnough expertise to identify and recommend changes/improvements to the process and infrastructure design.Provide L3 level supportStrong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independentlyTo maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with network issues.Knowledge retention actively participate in documentation of technical procedures.Projects: perform effectively as project leader or project team member as required for network related projects and internal assignments.Ability to participate and contribute during crisis times, assist team members/leads/ customer/ HCL Senior management, as neededShow adaptability and flexibility in work to suit business requirementsProviding emergency intervention in ITIL lifecycle processes Incident and Problem management to provide 2nd / 3rd level support in response to Major Incidents.Managing relationships with key stake holders to ensure aligned delivery and support activities, optimising opportunities to derive added value.Resolve moderate to complex (P1, P2 and P3) incidents and problems effectively and in a timely mannerResponsible for performing root cause analysis and long-term fixesResponsible for implementation of medium to complex components of a project module, change request.Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisionsWork in a cross-cultural team and communicate effectively

Technical / professional qualifications:

8+ years of Network administration experience in large enterprise environment.Cisco and other industry standard networking certifications.Extensive experience in System Fault Tolerance, Networking Designing, Business continuity and Disaster recoveryCandidates must possess a solid understanding of LAN and WAN concepts (including wireless LAN and Firewall) plus an average of 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise class routers, switches in a global network environment using common network security practices, standards, and troubleshooting.Candidates must possess excellent technical skills and be able to deliver results under pressure.
