Join the ARKA mission and discover your next career opportunity now Position Overview: In this position, you will manage a talented IT team across the ARKA organization, responsible for the implementation, migration, maintenance, and support of system applications and network infrastructure. As a hands-on manager, you will utilize your expertise to design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high availability technical solutions that meet business objectives across multiple environments. Responsibilities: Leadership and direction of the systems, network, and database team as it relates to day-to-day operations, while identifying and providing a long-term vision related to department and business initiatives. Management and prioritization of a substantial and diverse workload with ever-changing priorities. Motivate, mentor and train team members with varying levels of expertise, while identifying areas of individual growth and development. Establish and maintain effective cross-functional relationships at all levels throughout the organization. Ensure IT compliance is maintained with per organizational requirements. Ensure the rollout of system, network and cloud infrastructure is communicated in advance and clearly to the end-user community as required. Provide hands-on escalated support and jump in to assist team as required. May occasionally necessitate off-hours support to coordinate problem resolution and maintain continuous operation. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related subject or equivalent experience. Experience Required: 8 years of hands-on system and/or network administration, with 0-3 years of direct team management. Proven experience in leading, motivating, coaching, and training others. Strong prioritization and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high degree of flexibility. Ability to communicate and present clear, concise objectives to all levels of the organization while identifying and sharing risks and opportunities. Proven experience in understanding system and network protocols within a highly regulated environment. Demonstrated hands-on experience with various system applications, network, and cloud infrastructure with proven success in implementation across the enterprise including: Microsoft and other Cloud environments (GCC High preferred). Enterprise systems including VMWare, Windows, Linux and NetApp Monitoring, diagnostic, analytic and administration tools including Manage Engine System integrations and automation tools including DUO, Powershell and SAML via Microsoft Azure Patching tools and monitoring tools Security tools deployment such as MS Defender Networking tools such as Palo Alto and Cisco Engineering Tools deployment (PLM, MES, etc) Ability to draft and write reports to show KPIs such as uptime, SLDC, and patching results. CompTIA Security required or obtained within first 6 months. EHS/Environmental Requirements: This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time.
