We are looking for a

Senior Data Architect

(Principal Enterprise Architect) to collaborate with different divisions and create a coalition/task force to reverse engineer products and look for inefficiencies. As a

Senior Data Architect

(Principal Enterprise Architect), you will partner with several teams to look for performance improvement opportunities, stabilize multiple products and give constructive input to develop a long-term relationship and partnering. Provide expertise in deploying an organization's data architecture.

This is a remote role

and will report to the Director, Database Analysis & Development and under the leadership of the VP, IT Infrastructure & Operations. #LI-Remote

Required Job Qualifications (Minimum):

Experience: 5- 7 years

of experience of hands-on experience as an Enterprise Architect, Principal Engineer, or similar role for large-scale enterprise solutions using agile practices. Experience with both development and infrastructure efforts in a large matrix organization.

10+ years

of experience Architecting on Azure

5+ years

of proven experience in application architecture, Cloud Solutions with emerging technologies, Big Data, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.

Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Azure environments.

Expert in reverse engineering database code for performance tuning.

Demonstrate an advance ability to manage large datasets, cloud computing, open-source tools, and optimization techniques.

Understanding of modern data architecture and experience with core data services like maintaining data lakes, data warehouses, data marts and relational and dimensional modeling, data quality and master data management.

Experience designing data architectures to define and deliver data as an asset.

Experience in Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema, OLAP Cubes, and Bus Matrix Mapping)

Experience with the design, deployment, and evaluation of tools, frameworks, and patterns to build scalable data platforms.

Experienced industry-leading data infrastructure technologies and end user tools.

Experience troubleshooting data issues and identifying causes of performance bottlenecks.

Experience with SQL Server databases, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL relational data models and best practice architectural concepts.

SQL development skills using SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures

Experience with Agile software development

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira

Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Experience:

of experience creating high-quality data pipelines.

3+ years

of experience bringing people together across teams to collaborate on solutions.

3+ years

of experience growing people and teams through modeling, coaching, and demonstrating care.

Working knowledge of Azure data platform – data factory, data catalogs, data lake, analytics, Azure storage options, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, etc.

Education

: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work OR equivalent experience.

Azure: Architecture Certifications

Essential Responsibilities:

You will develop data architecture principles, creates models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, creates diagrams showing important data entities, and creates an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision. Expresses strategic data requirements, outlines high-level integrated designs to meet these requirements, and aligns with enterprise strategy and related business architecture. Define how data are managed by different data entities and IT systems, and any applications using or processing that data. Provide guidance for infrastructure and software architecture and planning. Identify and guide development of data standards.
