Responsibilities of the role;
Process Analysis; Collaborate, with business analysts and process owners to understand and document business processes while identifying areas for automation.
Designing RPA Solutions; Create and architect RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism. Clearly define the objectives and scope of automation projects.
Developing Bots;. Configure RPA bots to carry out tasks based on predefined workflows. This involves creating automation scripts, workflows as integrating with various systems and applications.
Testing; Thoroughly test RPA bots to ensure accuracy, reliability and alignment with business requirements.. Troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Deployment; Implement RPA bots in production environments closely monitoring their performance to ensure execution of automated processes.
Compliance; Guarantee adherence to security protocols and compliance requirements in all RPA solutions. This includes data protection measures and access controls.
Continuous Improvement; Continuously identify opportunities for enhancing automation processes. Suggest improvements for existing RPA solutions.
Qualifications;
Education; Typically a bachelors degree, in computer science, information technology or a related field is preferred. However relevant experience or certifications may be considered in lieu of education. Proficiency, in using RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Blue Prism or similar ones is desirable.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C# Java, Python or scripting languages is often necessary to customize and improve RPA scripts.
Having experience in automating business processes using RPA technologies and an understanding of workflow automation concepts is important.
Possessing certifications in RPA from providers, like UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism can be beneficial.
