Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Appium

Automation Engineer

to join our quality assurance team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Appium. You will work closely with development and QA teams to drive test automation best practices and help deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies.Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites using Appium to validate mobile applications.Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.Maintain code using Source Control systems majorly GitWrite clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.Qualifications:BE/BTech/ME/MTech: [Computer Science] / MCA3+ years of proven experience in test automation using Appium.Strong proficiency in Java along with OOPS conceptsKnowledge in JavaScript and TypeScript along with OOPS conceptsExperience with Agile software development processes and practices.Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks other than AppiumKnowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.Experience with version control systems majorly Git is a mustStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab CI, BitBucket CI , or similar is a mustExperience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
